The Q House opened in November 2021 and is home to a Senior Center, a New Haven Public Library, a Cornell Scott Hill Health Center and numerous after-school and community programs. The Q House plaza is also within walking distance of the Wexler Grant School, Yale Health Medical Clinic, Yale University Police Department, and several senior housing centers and churches.
CitySeed is proud to be partnering with Q House to take advantage of such a bustling community location in order to increase the access to fresh fruits, vegetables and food in the neighborhood. We are especially looking for applications from produce, dairy and meat farmers at the Q House market, as well as BIPOC farmers and vendors. We are also excited to welcome local businesses, artisans, musicians and others from the Dixwell neighborhood as vendors.
