The Backyard Market in Black Forest is a Producers-Only market on the Northeast side of Colorado Springs. This year will be the market's 7th season and has quickly grown to over 60 vendors each week. We are primarily a food focused market with local farmers, specialty food vendors, and select artisans/crafters and services. We host live music from local musicians, a free educational kids corner activity, and themed market days throughout the season.
Located in the Black Forest Community Church Parking Lot in the heart of Black Forest you will instantly feel like part of the community as you are welcomed with smiles from staff and vendors alike. Our farmers love chatting with you about their growing practices and sharing recipes. During the season we offer live music, educational activities for the kids, Chefs at the market cooking up samples of in season produce, and education on ways to be more sustainable.
