Our market is operated by the nonprofit SustainFloyd. The goal of the market is to give our local farmers and food producers a venue to sell their products and make a living. Our customers are a combination of community members as well as visitors as Floyd is a tourist destination in Virginia. We offer SNAP match through LEAP as well as through donations from SustainFloyd as our SNAP customers are important to us. Our vendors are mainly comprised of food vendors - fruits and vegetables, meat, artisan breads, preserves, herbs, with occasional guest craft vendors. With live music, shopping, and yummy prepared food, the Floyd Farmers Market is vibrant event every Saturday thought the season - where freshness, flavor, and friends come together!
