Covington Farmers Market is a Kentucky Proud market, occurring on Saturdays, 9 AM - 1 PM, from May through October at Roebling Point (3rd and Greenup), and in the month of November, and December 8th & 15th at Braxton Brewery.
In addition to the fresh produce, baked goods, prepared soups and salads, fermented foods, herbs, teas, plant starts, flower bouquets, honey, soaps and lotions, meats and eggs, and children's books, we have live music every week, and intentional programming:1st Saturdays are Farm to Bar where we host one local brewer and one local distiller to vend and talk to customers about their role in Kentucky's rich agricultural tradition; 2nd Saturdays are Yoga and pet adoption, where we offer free yoga and host a rescue organization who brings their adoptable pets; 3rd Saturdays include Sustainability Practices where we invite a group to share strategies for more sustainable living; 4th Saturdays are just for kids, where we host story time with the local library, and invite kids to plant, weed, and water our Lil' Kids' Garden where they can taste what they've grown, and participate in Fruit and Veggie Bingo to win market gear at the end of the season.
With over twenty Kentucky vendors representing 10 counties, our market represents small growers and producers committed to natural and organic practices, humane animal management, and responsible land stewardship. Our vendors' expertise and passion sets our market apart in the region as a leader in education and direct sales benefiting the local economy, with outreach to food insecure populations.

Megan Ayers and Alexa Abner
Megan and Alexa are both urban farmers who transitioned into management in 2016. Under their management, the market has grown both in the number of vendors and customers, and in outreach into the urban population of Covington, KY. They are proud that 2018 is the market's first year utilizing Kentucky Double Dollars for WIC and SNAP participants.
