Recognized as one of the best farmers markets in the United States, the University District Farmers Market is Seattle’s largest food-only market and has been operating since 1993. Conveniently situated between 50th and 52nd Streets on “The Ave” (University Way), the market has a core group of lifers - farmers and food artisans who have been there if not since ‘93, darn near that long. It is these long-time vendors and their dedicated shoppers of decades, who help give the University District Farmers Market its hometown feel and community atmosphere, despite featuring over 80 vendors during peak season. Professional and amateur chefs alike join us every Saturday to source unique ingredients not readily available at other farmers markets. Join us year-round from 9 am-2 pm every Saturday! If you're a member of the University of Washington community, show your school I.D. on the first Saturday of each month to receive $2 in farm bucks, currency that can be spent at any of our seven farmers markets.
