The Kenai Local Food Connection first organized the Harvest Moon Local Food Week in 2013, and began hosting the Harvest Moon Festival in 2018. Since then, it has grown tremendously with over 3500 people attending! The festival features live music, free kids’ activities, a pie contest, food demonstrations, the popular Fermentation Station and all sorts of Alaska Grown and Made in Alaska food products.
