This article walks you through how to connect your Marketspread website to your custom domain.
Log in to your market account and, from the navigation menu on the left, go to: Marketing → Website
From there, you can connect your Marketspread website to your custom domain.
Connect Your Custom Domain
Click on the Connect button as shown below:
Then enter your custom domain as seen in the example below:
Scroll to the bottom of the page, enter your credit card information, then click the blue ACTIVATE YOUR WEBSITE button.
To connect your custom domain after activating your Marketspread site, go to Marketing → Website from the left-hand navigation menu. Then click the three-dot icon in the top-right corner and select Connect domain.
After entering your custom domain name, you will need to update your DNS settings with your domain provider.
Log in to your domain provider account, such as GoDaddy, eNom, or Google Domains, and add the required DNS records for your domain.
Helpful links for common domain providers:
Add the following records:
- Set the root to "@" or leave it blank, depending on your domain provider
- Create an A record to 207.244.251.137
- Create a second A record to 209.126.13.72 for redundancy
After updating your DNS records, return to the Website section in Marketspread after about 10 minutes.
Confirm that your custom domain shows as connected, then visit your site using your custom domain.
