After moving to Earlysville, Virginia, Chris was surrounded by the simplicity and charm of rural life. There, she found solace in the company of her family's loyal canine companions, fostering a deep connection with animals that would shape her future endeavors.
After moving from the area where she raised a family, Chris felt a growing desire to pursue her true passions. Inspired by her furry friends and a vision to merge her love for crafting with her entrepreneurial spirit, Chris purchased a sewing machine and took a leap of faith and embarked on a new adventure – creating dog bandanas.
With boundless creativity and a keen eye for detail, Chris founded Fij, a brand dedicated to crafting stylish and functional accessories for beloved pets. Chris’s designs reflect a perfect blend of designs ranging from classic plaid patterns to whimsical prints and everything in between.
