Auntie Sheelahs Cheesecakes

My name is Sheila Cain, I am a wife and a mom of 3 adult children. I have been a licensed practical nurse for 20 years. For the last 4 years, I began baking and cooking professionally. I like to say that food is my love language. I really enjoy cooking for and feeding my friends and family. My home and my kitchen are usually the epicenter of family gatherings. I began baking cheesecakes after nit finding a great cheesecake locally. I was tired of having to drive 30 to 40 minutes away to get a great slice of cheesecake. I developed a really great cheesecake. I like baking a plain cheesecake and the building the flavors using , strawberries, blueberries, chocolate and or sweet potato toppings, while being very creative with my crust,graham cracker crust, shortbread cookie crust, chocolate cookie crust, lemon shortbread crust and I make a toffee cookie crust. For my fruit toppings I gather fresh local ingredients, I vist local orchards or farmers to get the freshest berries, apples, peaches and pears. Visiting local farms and orchards have always been somthing I enjoyed doing especially when my children were little. Going to the local orchards and picking fruit and then going home making a great dessert was something we really enjoyed doing as a family.
