About
My name is Jessenia Rojas, my dad was Italian, mom Cuban-American. I grew up half of my life in Florida and the other half in Italy. In 2012 I decided to move back to Italy where I ended up working for The Roman Food Tour for 7 years helping them become number one food tour in the world by Tripadvisor in 2018! All the while, I studied and became a Sommelier of olive oil, Cheese Master, salumi expert, and reached 2nd level wine sommelier. In 2020, covid brought me back to Florida. Since then, I have wanted to do nothing but share my passion with anyone and everyone I come across. So, in early 2021 I founded Al Dente Tastings. I’ve had the honor and privilege of bringing my beloved Italian food and wine knowledge into peoples homes. Then on a beautiful random day I decided to check out a farmers market near me. That day, I was overwhelmed by the amount of passion I came across at every single booth. Since then, I have decided I would love to bring Al Dente Tastings - my passion - to farmers markets in the Tampa Bay Area.
I have decided to sell a small and intimate variety of extremely prestigious Italian products. I will not only sell them individually, but through mini charcuterie to-go boxes I have created with those products.

I have decided to sell a small and intimate variety of extremely prestigious Italian food products. Through small tasters, education, visuals (large printed map of Italy, an ipad with images pertaining to the products), subtle music, and an overall inviting tent.
