About

Big Scott's started growing Hydroponic Micro Greens in 2019 ... that are retailed primarily at Barker's Farm in Stratham, and through Portsmouth Farmers Market. I have been supplying Me & Ollie's Bakery & Cafe with Micro Greens since June of 2019, and Delicious Thymes Catering & Personal Chef Services since early 2020. I grow and offer a unique type of green that is living and growing at the point of sale, and continues to live until the consumer harvests as needed. It stores well refrigerated for up to 2 weeks, or for a few days on the kitchen counter. The growing medium is coconut fiber, there is NO soil, NO fertilizer, Only Seed and Filtered Water on Coconut Fiber. The product is clean and completely acceptable to have in a home or commercial kitchen as a living, growing food. Living micro greens provide once for ounce, from 5 to 40 times the nutritional value of the same adult plants.
I also work at Barker's Farm in Stratham as a Manager, managing the production of sweet corn and potatoes, etc. Big's also grows garlic, popcorn, and corn used by Vida Tortilla for corn chip and Tortilla production at there processing facility in Dover, NH.
