The Queer Trans Project

The Queer Trans Project is a Black- and trans-led nonprofit based in Jacksonville, Florida, that provides free gender-affirming resources and travel support to transgender and non-binary people across the United States.

We focus on direct provision of free resources through customizable “Build-A-Queer Kits”. In the kits are items like binders, packers, and other gender-affirming supplies. We also provide flight assistance to individuals seeking to access to gender affirming care or are in need of relocation.

We work toward education, narrative change, and community-building, with an emphasis on accessibility regardless of age, location, identity, or ability to pay, and priority for those facing greater systemic barriers (including BIPOC individuals).
