I have a unique product that has come about from years of providing family and friends with a Salsa tweaked by taste, and culminating with the magnificent San Marzano tomato imported from Italy. As an airline pilot (now retired), I spent many a layover in Napoli and the Amalfi Coast where these grandiose flavor bombs are the stimulant for every Nona’s finest Sunday “Gravy”. I had to incorporate it!
What differentiates Story Time Salsa from our competition? San Marzano Tomatoes! These tomatoes come from the Campania region, nurtured in the rich volcanic soil near Mt. Vesuvius, and have a unique sweet flavor, perfect acidity, few seeds, and a meaty pulp. The peeled tomatoes and their juices are the base for our natural ingredient composed Salsa. We use no sugar or preservatives.
I am a small batch, Gourmet Salsa owner from Tampa, Florida. My product is produced in Bartow, Florida, halfway between Tampa and Orlando and I am currently producing 16-ounce jars in three different flavors, mild, medium, and hot, along with 1 Gallon Jugs in the same variety of flavors.

When we craft our Salsa’s, the process is derived from a 20 plus year experiment which has evolved into the product you receive today. Taste is the driving force, and proportions have been tweaked over the years to continually improve the blend. It was all capped and end game complete when the recipe added San Marzano Tomatoes.
This is the final touch that makes this “Simply the Best Salsa on the Planet”.

Mike Roberson, the craftsman behind Story Time Salsa, has spent the last 46 years flying to destinations around the world as a career aviator. His jobs in national defense, civilian aviation, and as a commercial pilot for a major US airline, have taken him to nearly every continent on Earth and have exposed him to diverse cultures, people, and food from around the globe. These travels have provided Mike with countless stories and instilled in him a passion for creating unique recipes of his own.
A foodie at heart with a lifelong love of all things tomato, Mike has spent the past twenty years perfecting what he believes to be simply the best salsa on the planet. Starting from an old family recipe and taking inspiration from the great salsas he's sampled while traveling the world, Mike has lovingly crafted a salsa recipe that tops even the best of the best.
Prepared to unrelenting standards, and using only the best ingredients - with a few little secrets thrown in - Mike's salsas have been a central feature at family gatherings for years. When he started getting request after request for special batches from friends and relatives, he knew it was time to share his salsas with the world.
