Natalia Cardona Sanchez
Natalia Cardona Sanchez , the founder and recipe creator of Azúcar Jams grew up in Guatemala. As a child, she watched her mom turn leftover tropical fruit from their family juicery into big batches of jam.
Later, when her family became refugees, two women who welcomed them into Canadian life took them to forage for berries and make jam-moments of care and resilience that shaped her. Those core memories still inspire her jam making today, carrying forward traditions of joy and connection.
