Billie Bird Davies

Billie Bird Designs is a small ceramics studio creating thoughtfully made, wheel thrown stoneware inspired by birds and coastal landscapes. Each piece is shaped by hand on the wheel, carefully trimmed and refined, then individually painted with layered brushwork.

High fired to Cone 10, the work is fully vitrified, durable, and watertight. I use only lead free, food safe glazes, and all pieces are microwave and dishwasher safe, though gentle hand washing is recommended for longevity. Because each piece is handmade, subtle variations make every one unique.

Working in small batches allows for close attention at every stage of the process. The result is functional pottery designed to be used daily while celebrating the beauty of craftsmanship.
