I sew handmade totes, bags, purses, pouches and bag accessories. Each collection is small batch, so only I or 2 of any bag and designed with a mix and match variety of fabrics. I purposely use a handmade look with visible stitching, girly details and soft color palette.

Hello, I am Heather Hedlund, artisan behind Satchel & Sundry. I am a long time sewer with a background in design and home decor sewing. That all comes through in the fabric selections and mix of patterns, textures and bag styles. I love playing at my local fabric store and finding fabric treasures at antique and thrift shops. My sewing skills show through with extra reinforcement hidden at bag stress points, seam construction and bag structure. Although I purposely use a handmade aesthetic with visible stitching, too. When I'm out shopping I like to be one of a few, not one of the masses. Bags are a personal statement of your personality, so each small collection is made with that very intention of individual style. So if you see and love it, ya better get it bc it will be the only one like it!
