Guy Cote grew up in Maine among lobstermen and fishermen. In 2012 he decided to utilize his unique relationship with these hardy folks to bring his favorite food to the people of Tampa Bay. Thus Maine-iacs was born, selling delicious Maine lobster - the real deal. Maine-iacs sells authentic Maine lobster rolls, lobster bisque and lobster mac-n-cheese. Don't make the mistake of confusing Florida lobster for Maine lobster. Lobster from Maine is so much more succulent, so much more delicious. All our lobster is wild caught.

Production Practices
I buy the lobster shelled and pre-cooked, shipped down to me because I have to pay for shipping by the weight and it makes no sense to pay for the shipping weight of shells. It costs me more, but it is worth it. And my customers are the beneficiaries of that.

Guy is an author and a former teacher who started Maine-iacs in 2012 in order to bring his favorite food to the people of Tampa Bay. He married Julie in 2019 and she has since become an invaluable Maine-iac, helping in every facet of the business.
