Launched in 2025, Astoria Farmers Market is a regular gathering space where neighbors can interact with their food and each other in a deeper way. We seek to lower barriers of entry for farmers to enter the NYC market and foster a sense of pride with a market organized by Astorians, for Astorians. AFM serves to connect Hudson Valley, Long Island and NYC-based farmers and producers with Astoria, Queens, a vibrant community and food capital in NYC. We aim to complement Astoria's rich culinary landscape with New York-sourced, direct-to-consumer foods, with a detailed attention to sourcing and quality.
