The Spirit Lake Community Market is a weekly summer market hosted by the Spirit Lake Community Coalition in Big Park. The market provides an opportunity for local farmers, artisans, food vendors, and young entrepreneurs to sell their products while helping create a lively community gathering place.
The market runs on Thursday evenings during the summer, bringing residents and visitors together to support local businesses, fresh food, handcrafted goods, and small-town connection. Vendors who participate help make the market a welcoming and family-friendly event that celebrates Spirit Lake’s strong community spirit.
Local and handmade products are encouraged, and vendors are asked to help maintain a positive, professional, and community-focused atmosphere throughout the season.
The market showcases area farmers, bakers, artisans, and small business owners offering fresh produce, handmade goods, baked items, specialty foods, crafts, and more. More than a shopping destination, the market is a social hub. It reflects Spirit Lake’s strong sense of neighborliness and volunteer spirit. Local nonprofits, churches, and civic groups often participate, reinforcing collaboration across the community.

We accept vendors who make or create. We do not accept re-sale. Kids 17 & under are charged half price. We have one free kids vending in the season. Non-profit groups are welcome at no charge. Contact us for availability.
