Farmers Market

About

Farm to Market on Main is a vibrant Sunday farmers market hosted by Downtown Front Royal Inc in the heart of historic downtown Front Royal, Virginia. Our market connects local farmers, food producers, artisans, and small businesses directly with the community in a welcoming, family-friendly environment.
We focus on fresh, locally grown produce, farm-raised meats, baked goods, handmade products, and value-added food items while supporting regional agriculture and entrepreneurship. Beyond shopping, Farm to Market on Main serves as a gathering space — strengthening community connections, supporting small businesses, and driving foot traffic to our downtown merchants.
As part of our Main Street revitalization efforts, the market plays a key role in enhancing economic vitality and creating meaningful experiences for residents and visitors alike.

Additional Location Information:

Our location is in a prime spot in our downtown Main Street. There is a gazebo that we now call the John Marlow Plaza where vendors gather around and in the grassy areas.

Farm to Market on Main is proudly hosted by Downtown Front Royal Inc and operates under the leadership of a dedicated volunteer subcommittee focused on promotions and vendor coordination. What began as a small, grassroots community market has steadily grown into a well-attended weekly event in the heart of historic downtown Front Royal.
Currently, vendor applications are managed through Google Forms and email, with our Promotions Subcommittee reviewing submissions, communicating approvals, and coordinating vendor participation. While this system has allowed us to grow thoughtfully, it has become increasingly manual as the market expands.
As we continue to grow, we are seeking more streamlined tools to improve communication, organization, and overall vendor experience. We believe Marketspread will allow us to centralize applications, enhance communication between market leadership and vendors, and create a more efficient, professional system that supports our long-term sustainability and continued downtown revitalization efforts.
