TASTE THE FARM – Downtown Jacksonville’s Monthly Friday Night Farmers Market
Taste the Farm is a new monthly farmers market happening starting May 1st from 4–7 PM at the historic Bigham Knoll Old Schoolhouse.
Fresh food. Local music. Community classes. Golden hour in one of the most beautiful towns in Oregon.
Hosted in collaboration with Black Barn Farm Kitchen & Restaurant, Ascension Healing Fellowship, and Organic Produce Finder, this market is rooted in good soil, good people, and good food.
• Fresh produce (organic/regenerative encouraged)
• Prepared foods highlighting local ingredients
🌱 EDUCATORS & COMMUNITY CLASSES
We’ll be hosting free classes inside the Old Schoolhouse classrooms during the market.
Topics may include:
• Gardening & soil health
• Raising livestock
• Food forests & permaculture
• Homesteading skills
• Herbalism & medicinal plants
• Mushroom cultivation
• Fermentation & preservation
• Sound healing / nervous system support
• Land-based or food-centered skills
Classes are 30–45 minutes and free to the public. You’re welcome to share your offerings at the end.
