Established in 2008, the Pawling Farmers Market (PFM) operates a weekly outdoor market on Saturday mornings from mid-June through September on the Pawling Village Green and an indoor market on the Saturday before Thanksgiving. In 2024, each week PFM hosted approximately 17 farmers and food producers from within a 100 mile radius and 6-7 food and craft artisans, including freshly prepared food. PFM also provides weekly live music, children's events and food demonstrations and occasional food trucks. PFM's mission is to provide an economical market for local farmers, food producers and artisans, provide high quality fresh produce and food products, support food insecure community members to purchase fresh food and encourage local businesses. Bordering Connecticut, the Pawling area has a rich agricultural tradition, historical sites and fabulous hiking on the Appalachian and local trails.
In addition to FMNP, Pawling Farmers Market also participates in the Feed Your Neighbor program which is privately subsidized for Pawling/Holmes residents
