Since the summer of 2005, the Suffolk Farmers’ Market has been a vibrant destination for locally grown fruits and vegetables, baked goods, organically raised poultry, fresh eggs and milk, honey, and a variety of artisan-crafted goods.
From May through November, the Market takes place on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the open-air Special Event Pavilion, conveniently located behind the Suffolk Visitor Center at 524 North Main Street in downtown Suffolk, at the corner of Constance Road and Main Street.
Free and open to the public, the Market features a variety of special guest speakers and performers, as well as family-friendly activities including petting zoos, workshops, crafts, and more.
In addition to the regular season, the Market hosts a bimonthly Winter Market from February through April on the first and third Saturdays, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The Suffolk Farmers’ Market is rooted in preserving the City’s agricultural heritage through wholesome, family-friendly experiences. Our mission is to support local farms and artisans by fostering meaningful connections between producers and the community. Vendor participation is open to regional producers within a 100-mile radius of Suffolk.
