I describe The Nubbiest Place as "squishy Illustrations from my squishy little brain." My characters and stories fall into the children's book genre where everything is bright and happy and everyone has a story. Another style I do are silhouettes where I take scenes from a movie and draw them into the shape of the main character's head.

My name is Lauryl and I graduated from Boise State University in 2021 with a BFA in Illustration. Since graduation, I've done a small variety of local art related events as well as some commission work! This year will be my second time being featured at the Boise Comic Arts Festival at Ann Morrison Park, so come find me!
