A local Goochland resident-Shuryl says she is honoring her global roots and love of coffee with the name of her business. KOFFIE is derived from the Afrkaans spelling of coffee and is pronounced the Turkish way kahveh. (Ka vay). Being an African American entrepreneur has been a dream-and how better to start than with a love of coffee, meeting people, and filling a gap in her local community by bringing coffee.
