Wapato Island Farm

Wapato Island Farm is a women-owned, 32-acre working farm located on Wapato Island (Sauvie Island) collectively tended by a community with a deep desire to honor the land and share its beauty and healing power. We grow certified organic herbs and mushrooms, which we use to handcraft herbal remedies and self-care products. We are committed to utilizing and teaching folk herbalism and indigenous farming practices to rediscover ancestral traditions. On our farm, we offer educational workshops, resources, skill-sharing, and communal gatherings that honor plants, traditional wisdom and folk healing practices to build community and foster cultural resiliency.
