Bequest Coffee Roasters, LLC
Vendor
be·quest /be’kwest/ Noun, a legacy.
Historically, the term bequest was used for personal property given by will. Rooted in our mission, we want to remind people to be intentional in how their purchases impact the world for the generations to come.
We are changing the way coffee roasters serve their fans by being mindful throughout the entire purchasing cycle:
Coffee: After a very intentional selection process in partnering with respectable farmers, we roast our beans to the perfect level in order to extract the optimal flavor from our coffees.
Packaging: Once roasted, we vacuum seal our coffees in re-usable packaging to deliver the freshest coffee to our customers!
Closing the Loop: We are on a mission to prove that providing exceptional coffee is both environmentally and economically sustainable by employing a closed-loop recycling system: we recollect, sanitize and recycle all of our packaging.
We source coffees from all over the world and use our micro-roaster, permitted by CT cottage food permits, here in New Haven to package and sell at markets.
William Ruiz
Passionate about everything with coffee, I've been studying the coffee culture for over 5 years now. I want to bring artisanal coffee to New Haven but in a mindfully responsible way. This passion of mine has taken many forms and evolved into what I believe is one of the most environmentally and economically sustainable coffee companies out here today!
