Bud & Thorn is a new, micro-maker located in Richmond, VA. We create handmade infinity scarves that hide a secret, zippered pocket within their folds. Each scarf outer is made of one beautiful color/pattern fabric, while the inner pocket opens up to a pop of complimentary color, design, or even metallic shimmer. These scarves are perfect for running errands around town, going out for a date night, or even as a secure passport/important documents holder while traveling.

Since I was little I have been active in making of all kinds, and was immensely lucky to grow up with an amazingly talented mother who spent her time at craft fairs to sell her creations. Now, whether it be fine art, crafts, cooking and baking, or growing food and flowers, I love to spend my time creating.
My day-to-day job is working with preserving old buildings, and I share my home in the northside of Richmond with a loving partner and four adorable cats. My current creative endeavors are running a micro-farm/nursery growing heirloom fruits, flowers, and vegetables to share with my local community, and creating handmade infinity scarves with a secure and secret, zippered pocket.
