Belle Epoque Pottery
Material Goods/Craft/Flea/Art
Belle Epoque Pottery is the work of Camille Morin, a BFA graduate of the University of Tennessee. A potter for over 20 years, Camille incorporates nostalgic images into her work through the use of a photo-copy transfer method onto porcelain & stoneware. Images are burnished onto the clay surface prior to firing, and high-fired in a gas reduction kiln. Wheel-thrown, handbuilt, and slipcast forms are finished with an art nouveau-inspired palette of original glazes.
